Memorial Day events in North County. Saturday, May 24, 2008 Vista WalMart - 10:00A.M. Members and friends of Vista VFW Post 7041 and Oceanside Memorial VFW Post 10577, plus Vista American Legion Post 365 along with the POW's group, and many others came together to remember those who have given all. Chairs and shade were provided for our guests comfort courtesy of Vista WalMart**. A few event photos shown below.

	The Honorable Morris Vance, Mayor of Vista, California addresses Veterans and their family's. "Like a breath to the human body, remembrance makes the spirit live." Thank you to all who attended this event.

Monday, May 26, 2008 at 10 AM, VFW Post 7041, it's Auxiliary's and The Vista Garden Club held its Memorial Day Service and also dedicated a Blue Star Memorial By-Way Marker in the Memorial Grove, Brengle Terrace Park, 1400 Vale Terrace Drive, Vista, CA. After the Ceremony, there was a potluck lunch served in the Post Home. Afternoon entertainment was provided by "The Orbitz" THE ORBITZ is a three-member classic rock band recreating the musical impact of popular hit songs from the 60's and 70's. Each performance includes songs by Roy Orbison, The Beatles, The Beach Boys, Neil Diamond, Van Morrison, Elvis and many others. Delivered with energy and style, THE ORBITZ share the music that crowds want to sing along with because they already know the words!
