Francis Andrew "Bud" Sanders, Age 70 of Naperville,
died Saturday, December 31, at home. Visitation will be held Tuesday,
January 4, from 3 until 9 pm, and Wednesday, January 5 from 11 am until
time of Funeral Service at 12:30 p.m. at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main
St., Lombard, IL. Mr. Sanders is survived by: his wife Jane C., nee
Schuler; his children, Tammy (Jon) March of Wheaton, and Tanya (Paul
Vetter) Romas of Lombard; his grandchildren, Bekka Rood, Olivia Romas;
his step-grandchildren, Nick and Jessie March and Christian and Katie
Vetter; his mother, Marie Olson of Wheaton; his sister, Carol Altvatter
of Glen Ellyn; His step-mother, Inez Sanders; his step-brother, John
(Joan) Gorenz; his step-sister, Rhonda (Donald) Macy of CO; his
brother-in-law, Carson (Paula) Schuler; and his sister-in-law, Martha
Schuler. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Sanders, and his
granddaughter, Kaylin Rood. Mr. Sanders was a resident of Naperville
from 2000 to 2010 and was formerly of Wheaton from 1979 to 2000, and a
resident of Lombard from 1965 to 1978. He grew up in Batavia and was a
1958 graduate of Naperville Central High School. Mr. Sanders was a 1963
graduate of North Central College in Naperville. He retired from State
Farm in 2000 after 38 years as a Claims Superintendent. Mr. Sanders was
a competitive downhill skier. He was an instructor for the National
Amputee Golf Association and also taught skiing for the disabled. He
spent part of each year in Naples, Florida. Mr. Sanders was a die hard
Cubs fan. He was a dedicated and proud Grandfather. In lieu of flowers,
