Marilyn M. Steffes, 65, of Clinton (WI), formerly of Sharon and Beaver Dam, died on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2003, at her home in Clinton.

The funeral will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 25, at 11 a.m., from Toynton's Walworth Funeral Home, Walworth.  The Rev. Mark Dressel will officiate.  Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery.

Marilyn was born on Feb. 8, 1938 in Illinois, the daughter of Mildred Miller.  She was married to David Steffes on Feb. 15, 1958 in Naperville, Ill.  He preceded her in death on Dec. 19, 2000.

Marilyn worked for the Sharon Grade School as an aid and in admitting at the Lakeland Medical Center after her children were grown.  She loved to bowl and was involved in leagues at one time or another in Walworth, Sharon, Clinton and Beaver Dam, where she and David moved to when he transferred there while working for Chrysler.

Survivors include one son, Scott (Kathy) Steffes, Beloit; one daughter, Debbie (Rick) Young, Sharon; four grandchildren, Tyler and Lindsey Young, and Jake and Luke Steffes.

Friends may call on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial in Marilyn's name to the Sharon Fire and Rescue Squads.

The Toynton's Funeral Home, Walworth, is serving the family.
